COVID LETTER 04/01/2021

Dear families,

Thank you for your patience today.

We have met (virtually) as a staff and updated our risk assessments.

We will not have enough staff to open our schools safely. This will remain the case until the local picture improves. Therefore, for the majority of children school will be closed. Learning will be online.

Both schools will reopen tomorrow (Wednesday 5th January) for pre booked key worker and vulnerable children only.

We expect your child to attend online lessons daily. We understand that in a house with more than one child sometimes technology is shared and every child may not be able to access all lessons. Please let your child’s teacher know via SeeSaw if this is the case. Expectations of remote learning are being shared with staff and families. Please note that we will endeavour to record lessons or upload flipcharts so the children will not miss out. Please email the office if you require any additional resources.

If your child is entitled to a free school meal, we will be in touch tomorrow with information about how that will be made available to you.

We are working hard to get technology out to the children who have joined us since last Summer and do not have access to any at home.

Kind regards,

Victoria McConnell
